Job Details:

• Full Time – Hourly
• 1st shift       6am – 2pm (Monday – Friday)
  • Starting pay: $16.00 per hour

Basic Job Duties:

The Janitor is to follow the outlined cleaning checklist to keep the facility clean in accordance to VPS cleaning standards

• Cleans and services restrooms
• Cleans individual and general office areas
• Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors
• Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials in the offices and on production floor
• Observes appearances and conditions of premise and equipment, reports any needed repairs
• Maintains inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies
• Responsible for special projects as needed
• Reports the following to Facilities Manager
  • Presences of Animals, vermin or insects
  • Need for cleaning supplies
  • Water leaks or other maintenance needs
• Document completed work activities for Master Cleaning schedule purposes
• Compliance with all company Quality Systems, Operational and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including safety and housekeeping procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
• Training in the Janitorial field is preferred
