Job Details:
- Full Time – Hourly
- 1st shift 6am – 2pm (Monday – Friday)
- Starting pay: $16.00 per hour
Basic Job Duties:
The Janitor is to follow the outlined cleaning checklist to keep the facility clean in accordance to VPS cleaning standards
- Cleans and services restrooms
- Cleans individual and general office areas
- Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors
- Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials in the offices and on production floor
- Observes appearances and conditions of premise and equipment, reports any needed repairs
- Maintains inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies
- Responsible for special projects as needed
- Reports the following to Facilities Manager
- Presences of Animals, vermin or insects
- Need for cleaning supplies
- Water leaks or other maintenance needs
- Document completed work activities for Master Cleaning schedule purposes
- Compliance with all company Quality Systems, Operational and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including safety and housekeeping procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- Training in the Janitorial field is preferred
