Job Details:

  • Full Time – Salaried
  • 1st Shift, days (Monday – Friday)
  • Pay: Starting at $110k

Basic Job Duties:

The Plant Manager will organize and oversee the daily operations of the Green Bay plant. This individual ensures that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people. The ideal candidate must be competent in and able to plan a variety of operational activities. In addition, the Plant Manager must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the operations and empower people. The goal of this individual is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.

  • Liaise with VP of Operations to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress including, but not limited to scheduling workflow, oversee production efficiency, product quality, shipping and receiving operations, maintenance operations, employees’ safety/wellbeing, creating/updating work instructions, enforcing standard operating procedures and daily operations.
  • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Work with the VP of Operations to review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics
  • Collaborate with leadership to create a climate of collective responsibility and accountability
  • Champion continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or relevant field
  • 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in paper or plastic packaging and/or flexographic printing
  • Proven experience as Plant Manager or equivalent position
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g., ERP, CRM)

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of actively working on the floor throughout the day
  • Able to sit, stand and walk around for long periods at a time
